We are now looking for a project-leading Department Manager for our Industrial Piping division. We are looking for you who have experience in project management within industry, contracting or construction with a focus on piping, and who want to be involved in driving technical projects from start to finish in a business with high expertise and strong team spirit. About the job As department manager for industrial piping, you have a key role in our business and are responsible for driving the division's projects from an early stage to completed delivery. You report to the Business Area Manager for Pressurized Products and Piping, have overall responsibility for the division as well as the projects' finances, schedule and quality, environment and work environment. In the role, you are expected to build up and develop the industrial piping division, which today has a turnover of approximately 100 MSEK, and you become an important part of our continued growth journey where you get to influence how development progresses forward. The role includes working with development of existing customers, preparing quotations and ensuring that projects are carried out in accordance with applicable agreements, procedures and legal requirements. You are the manager of the industrial piping division but also work as a project manager for the division's projects, lead technical reviews before project start and ensure that assembly managers and supervisors have the right conditions and information to perform their work. You are also responsible for project documentation such as risk analyses, work environment plans, schedules, quality plans and final documentation as well as for handling change orders and downtimes. An important part of the role is to monitor project status and report to the Business Area Manager, and to actively contribute to developing and improving the business. We are looking for We are looking for you who have technical expertise and relevant experience in industrial piping or a related field as well as documented experience in project management. You are a confident and experienced leader who works in a structured, business-oriented and solution-focused manner, with the ability to make decisions within the project's framework. A broad network and good understanding of the industry's players create good conditions for success in the role. You enjoy collaboration with both internal and external parties and have a good understanding of KMA work. The role requires good IT skills, mainly in Microsoft Office/365, as well as excellent knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
