As Department Manager in Kristianstad, you are responsible for leading and developing our agricultural business with a focus on quality, efficiency, delivery capability, and customer value. What you will do with us In the role of Department Manager, you lead the operational activities at our unit in Kristianstad. You create structure, direction, and conditions for the operation to function efficiently with high quality, good delivery capability, and strong customer focus. You will, among other things: Lead, plan, and monitor daily production Ensure correct staffing, competence, and resource allocation Follow up on KPIs and drive improvements in quality, capacity, and efficiency Develop work methods, processes, and collaboration within the operation Work close to operational management and create good conditions for the team to succeed Ensure preventive and systematic work in health, environment, and safety Contribute to the operation's strategic development with a focus on long-term sustainability, customer value, and continued development within Agro. You are also a key person in the local management team together with those responsible for sales and quality, and report directly to the Managing Director. Who are you? We are looking for a communicative, structured, and clear leader who enjoys being close to operations and has the ability to combine operational management with a coaching leadership style. You have experience leading both people and operations, and you are motivated by developing teams, work methods, and results. To succeed in the role, we would like you to have: Post-secondary education and/or equivalent experience in operational management Experience in production management, laboratory operations, or other quality-controlled operations A strong interest in improvement work, efficiency, and quality A business-oriented approach and the ability to create structure at a fast pace The ability to build commitment, collaboration, and responsibility in the team It is meritorious if you have experience from agriculture-related operations, analytical work, or environments where customer needs, quality, and delivery reliability are in focus. Experience with technical solutions, automation, or AI is likewise meritorious. Since we are part of an international network, you are expected to master both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
