Do you have experience with baby products and thrive in personal customer interactions? Lekia/Babya in Sisjön is now seeking a store sales associate at 75% who wants to combine sales and service with special responsibility for the store's Baby Department (strollers, car seats, and baby products). About the position: As a store sales associate at Lekia/Babya, you'll have a varied role where sales, service, and responsibility go hand in hand. You'll work throughout the store with everything from customer interactions and cashier duties to merchandise picking and deliveries, alongside your colleagues. Beyond daily store operations, you'll have special responsibility for the Baby Department, where you'll have the opportunity to use your product knowledge and help develop the department forward. You'll become an important knowledge resource in the area and maintain ongoing contact with both customers and suppliers and field sales representatives. Your responsibilities: Be responsible for and contribute to the development of the Baby Department Provide personal service and advice with a strong focus on the Baby assortment Participate in ordering, purchase orders, and assortment planning Plan and execute campaigns within your area of responsibility Handle complaints and perform simple repairs of items such as strollers, including tire changes, tube replacements, and other parts Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers and field sales representatives Stay updated on products, news, and safety within the area Serve as a knowledge resource and ambassador in the baby segment to your colleagues Participate in the store's daily operations including cashier duties, merchandise picking, and deliveries Qualifications: We're looking for someone with previous experience in sales and service, plus basic product knowledge within the baby segment. You have knowledge of items such as strollers, car seats, and other products for small children and feel confident advising customers based on their needs. To succeed in this role, we see that you: Have previous experience in sales and service, preferably in retail Have basic product knowledge about items such as strollers, car seats, and other products for small children Have experience with consultative sales and feel confident in customer interactions Feel comfortable guiding customers and answering product-related questions Have a genuine interest in the baby segment and a desire to continuously stay updated on products and assortment As a person, you are confident, responsible, and service-oriented. You enjoy working with others, like to share your knowledge, and are unpretentious in daily work. At the same time, you enjoy taking personal responsibility and driving your area forward. Other information Scope: 75% Start date: Immediate Work hours: Work hours are scheduled for both weekdays and weekends. You will work every other weekend. Employment agreement: Lekia/Babya applies the Retail collective agreement. Store hours: The store is located at Sisjövägen 45 in Askim and is open weekdays 10 AM–7 PM and weekends 10 AM–5 PM.
