Description We are seeking a nurse for a permanent full-time position with our well-staffed and experienced care team. Division 51 is a general psychiatry ward located at St. Göran Hospital on Kungsholmen in Stockholm. We have specialized expertise in treating patients with personality disorders, neuropsychiatric disabilities, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anxiety disorders, while also providing care to a diverse range of patients. We actively implement Safewards to create a safer care environment. The division has 17 care beds, with 2 beds reserved for voluntary admission. Nursing care plays a central role in patient treatment, with a focus on strengthening patients' self-care abilities. We work in interprofessional teams where you as a nurse will have a leadership and coordinating function. Responsibilities Your duties will include leading the team, administering medications, providing supportive conversations, managing admissions and discharges for voluntary admission patients, and coordinating contact with outpatient care and municipal services. Qualifications We are looking for a licensed nurse with an interest in psychiatric nursing care. You enjoy development and are comfortable with both structure and variety in your work. It is an advantage if you have experience in psychiatry and/or hold a specialist qualification in psychiatric nursing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, with qualities such as the ability to work in a team and being unpretentious being fundamental. Terms Permanent employment. Full-time, day/evening shifts (38.15 hours/week). Fixed rotating 10-week schedule with 2 weekends worked per 5 weeks. Start date: by agreement.
