Description We are seeking a nursing assistant for a permanent full-time position with our well-staffed and experienced care team. Ward 51 is a general psychiatry ward located on the St. Göran hospital grounds on Kungsholmen in Stockholm. We have specialized expertise in treating patients with personality disorders, neuropsychiatric disabilities, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anxiety disorders, while also caring for a diverse range of patients. We actively implement Safewards to create a safer care environment. The ward has 17 beds, of which 2 are reserved for self-selected admission. Nursing care plays a central role in patient treatment, where we focus on strengthening patients' capacity for self-care. We work in interprofessional teams where, as a nursing assistant, you will work closely with patients. Duties include nursing care such as supportive conversations, documentation, activity scheduling, picking up patients from the Psychiatric Emergency Unit, and accompanying patients to medical appointments. As a nursing assistant, you will work closely with the charge nurse. The ward actively fosters a student-friendly environment through a structured educational model based on peer-learning. Qualifications We seek someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a protected title. You have at least 2 years of experience in psychiatric 24-hour care and thrive with both structure and variety in your work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, where qualities such as the ability to work in a team and being unpretentious are fundamental. Terms Full-time (37h/week), permanent position.
