Renova is seeking a customer-focused employee who wants to work on an hourly basis at our recycling centers in Kungälv and Stenungsund.
Job Duties
As an employee at our recycling center, you will have varied work alongside pleasant colleagues. The role means you are Renova's face in waste management. Our customers should always feel confident that we handle their waste in the best possible way for the environment.
The work involves active customer service as well as operating and maintaining the facilities in an efficient, cost-effective and environmentally responsible manner. Since the customer is in focus at our recycling centers, it is important that you provide good service. Through guidance and information, customers will have learned more about recycling when they leave the facility.
The work takes place mainly outdoors with some administrative work in an office environment. Working hours are mainly weekends, though weekdays may occur.
Renova's waste management is in constant development, and you will be part of that development if you work with us. To start, all new employees receive a comprehensive introduction program that includes various trainings. Through a working method based on participation, you have the opportunity to learn more and more.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic IT knowledge
- Good physical condition
- Driver's license category B
- Good Swedish, spoken and written
- Experience with similar tasks is a merit
- Experience in service and informative work is a merit
- Forklift and wheel loader certification is a merit
We are looking for someone who is service-oriented and relationship-building, since a large part of the role is about giving our customers the best possible experience and building long-term relationships. You meet people in an open and positive manner and build trust in every interaction.
You need to be collaborative, as we work closely together in teams and often solve tasks together. Your ability to communicate and collaborate contributes to a positive work environment and effective cooperation across departmental boundaries.
The role also requires flexibility. Some periods are more intensive, while others are calmer, and then we expect you to be able to shift focus and take initiative for other tasks that develop both you and the operations.
We also value that you are responsible and organized. You take ownership of your tasks, ensure they are completed and contribute to the development of the operation through continuous improvements.
