As a security guard at Avarn Security, you have an important role in society to protect and monitor secured facilities according to the Security Act. We are seeking protection dog handlers (RPS). Your dog will be with you both as a colleague at the workplace and as a family member at home. Do you already have a dog that you believe is suitable as an RPS handler dog? Our experienced dog instructors will assess whether your dog can become a service dog. An important part of this role is to strengthen security for our client, and this role requires HAS training (Firearm Handling). Requirements: Beyond the personal qualities we seek and describe in various assignments, you need to meet basic requirements to be qualified for the position: - High school diploma or equivalent - Good Swedish in speech and writing - Driver's license category B Meritorious qualifications: - Security guard training (VU1 + VU2) - Weapon training - Civil security guard training (or military security guard training**, completed from 2016 or later) Qualifications: We are looking for someone with personal maturity who feels confident in the role of security guard. Personal qualities are what determines the best fit. You should possess a high level of security awareness and social competence. We place great emphasis on your ability to work in a group, but also expect you to independently identify and solve problems. Security clearance, background check, and security interviews may be conducted for work at certain facilities. We place great importance on your personal maturity when assessing suitability for the position. To be eligible for the position, you must be at least 18 years old by your start date. This requirement is based on the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2, chapter 8 and appendix 2, which restrict minors' ability to perform work tasks within security and protection-related activities. The position is classified as security-sensitive and subject to security clearance according to chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act (2018:585). For certain security classifications, Swedish citizenship is required according to security protection legislation. In addition, you must be of good conduct*, drug-free, have sound finances, and be in good health and physical condition to be employed at Avarn Security.
