Patrol Security Guard As a patrol security guard, you work independently to create safety and prevent risks for our customers. You patrol your assigned area and perform security checks, alarm response, and monitoring. This role suits you if you enjoy independent work, appreciate variety, and like being out and active during your shifts. Alarm Response An important part of the position is handling alarms and incidents in a safe, professional, and solution-oriented manner. Here you'll use your judgment and decision-making abilities in situations where your actions make a real difference. Stationary Security In stationary security positions, you work closely with the customer and become an important part of their daily operations. Your tasks may include reception work, patrols, and monitoring center duties. You'll combine security awareness with service and professional conduct to create a safe and welcoming environment. About You You want to work in a role of societal importance where you take responsibility, develop, and are part of an engaged team. You are confident, service-oriented, and have a natural ability to build trust with both customers and colleagues. Basic Requirements for the Position High school diploma or equivalent Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Good English language skills, spoken Class B driver's license To be eligible for this position, you must be at least 18 years old by the start date. This requirement is based on the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2, Chapter 8 and Appendix 2, which restrict minors' ability to perform work in security and guarding-related activities. You must also be of good character*, drug-free, have your finances in order, and be in good health and physical condition to be employed at Avarn Security. Security guard training is an asset for these positions. Other valuable qualifications include experience working in the security industry, certain technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments. If you have the right profile for Avarn and advance in the process but don't already have the required training (VU1, VU2), we cover the cost of your training! Security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted by BYA Bevakningsbranschens Yrkes- och Arbetsmiljönämnd. Participation in this training is a requirement for employment.
