Avarn Security has the assignment to deliver personnel security services to the Saab Group in Sweden and abroad. The delivery is a significant part of a coordinated security solution with Avarn Security's security and technical organization. As a security guard, you help protect critical societal functions. In the role of security guard, you work to prevent and manage security risks at protected sites. You have the ability to make well-founded decisions, prioritize effectively and ensure that work is carried out according to applicable security requirements and high service standards. You work in a structured manner, follow up on deliveries and ensure that business objectives are achieved. The role involves close collaboration and ongoing dialogue with work supervisors and operations managers, where you also contribute with initiatives and improvement suggestions to develop working methods and processes. We are looking for an engaged and driven leader with good social skills and a natural way of building trust. You are communicative, outward-facing and have a strong security focus in everything you do. Working hours: Night shift with 5/2 schedule Workplace: Linköping Duration: Full-time (6-month probationary period applies) Start date: By agreement Requirements: In addition to the personal qualities we seek and describe in the various assignments, you need to meet basic requirements to be qualified for the position: High school diploma Good Swedish proficiency in speech and writing Driver's license category B Civil security guard training (or military security guard training**, completed from 2016 onwards) Meriting factors: Security guard training (VU1 + VU2) Weapon training Group leader training or experience from a similar leadership position We place great emphasis on your personal maturity when assessing suitability for the position. To be eligible for the position, you must be at least 18 years old by the employment date. This requirement is based on the Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2, chapter 8 and appendix 2, which restricts minors' ability to perform tasks within security and security-related activities. The position is placed in security classification and is subject to security vetting under Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act (2018:585). For certain positions in security classes, Swedish citizenship is required under security legislation. In addition, you must be of good character*, drug-free, have good financial order and good health and physical fitness to be employed at Avarn Security.
