As a security officer at Avarn Security, you have an important societal mission to protect and monitor security objects in accordance with security regulations. Work hours: Varying hours depending on facility, day and night shifts Work location: Facilities near Oskarshamn Duration: Part-time, permanent position (6-month probationary period applies) Start date: By agreement Job duties: The work involves preventing and managing security risks, controlling access, and ensuring that unauthorized persons do not gain access to protected areas. You are responsible for conducting person and vehicle checks, monitoring facilities, and patrolling to detect and avert threats. We're looking for someone who is a dog owner and interested in working as a security officer together with your dog, developing within our dog operations as an EDD-team. The EDD-team consists of a dog handler and two trained explosive detection dogs (EDD-Explosive Detection Dog). The dogs will be with you both as colleagues at the workplace and as family members at home. Do you already have a dog that you think would be suitable as an explosive detection dog? Our dog trainers have extensive experience with dogs and will be the ones to assess whether your dog is suitable for work in an EDD-team. More information will be provided during the interview. Qualifications: We're looking for someone with personal maturity and who feels confident in yourself. Personal qualities are what determine the best fit. To work at certain facilities, a security clearance, enhanced background check, and security interview will be conducted.
