Avarn Security has been tasked with delivering personnel surveillance services to the Saab Group in Sweden and abroad. The delivery is a significant part of a coordinated security service with Avarn Security's surveillance and technical organization. About the position: As an operator, you will work in a surveillance center that is staffed 24/7, 365 days a year. You are the first point of contact for customers, surveillance personnel, alarm installers, police, and other authorities. The role includes receiving, assessing, and forwarding alarm events as well as handling fault reports. You will have daily contact with many different people via telephone and work in several computer-based systems to handle alarms, calls, and camera surveillance. The work is characterized by a fast pace, changing challenges, and a dynamic work environment. Your contribution will be crucial in creating security for our customers and society at large. In addition to this, the role also includes: Monitoring and management of cameras Administration of instructions Surveillance of common areas and properties Forwarding of discrepancies and incidents to relevant parties Continuous contact and feedback to the customer Qualifications The role of operator involves great responsibility and places high demands on your ability to act professionally in all situations. You need to be socially skilled, have good multitasking capacity, and be technically competent and thorough. The work requires that you can make independent decisions when the situation demands it. Previous work experience as an operator or in security is a merit. You are expected to maintain a high level of service toward the customer's personnel, suppliers, and other functions within Avarn Security, where professional conduct and good communication skills are crucial. Given that the work requires high social competence, good language skills in Swedish are of great importance. To be qualified for the position, you need to meet the following basic requirements: Fluent Swedish, spoken and written Computer skills - Office package Good English, spoken and written In addition, you must be of unblemished character*, drug-free, have orderly finances, good health and physical condition, and high school education with passing grades in Swedish and English to be employed at Avarn Security. The position is classified in a security class and is subject to security vetting in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act (2018:585). For positions in certain security classes, Swedish citizenship is required according to security protection legislation.
