Avarn Security has been contracted to deliver personnel security services to the Saab Group in Sweden and abroad. The delivery is a significant part of a coordinated security solution with Avarn Security's surveillance and technical operations. The coordinated security solution is one of Sweden's most complex, dynamic, and visible assignments with nationwide customer responsibility for the Group. (This is due to the recruitment process being more extensive) Job Responsibilities: As a security guard, you will work in many different environments with highly varied tasks such as staffing entrance receptions, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to the protected premises, and conducting patrols. These positions involve armed security guard duties. Desired Qualities: You want to work in a role that creates safety and have a natural ability to combine service with a strong security mindset. You are thorough and structured in your work approach as there may be some administrative tasks in this role. Requirements: In addition to the personal qualities we seek and describe for the various assignments, you must meet basic requirements to be qualified for the position: - Upper secondary education diploma (gymnasiekompetens) - Good Swedish in speech and writing - Driver's license category B - Civil security guard training (Or military security guard training**, completed from 2020 or later) You must be at least 18 years old by the first day of employment. This requirement is based on the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2, chapter 8 and appendix 2, which restrict minors' ability to perform work within surveillance and security-related activities. The position is classified as security-sensitive and subject to security clearance under chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act (2018:585). For positions in certain security classifications, Swedish citizenship is required under security protection legislation. In addition, you must be of good repute*, drug-free, have sound finances, and be in good health and physical condition to be employed at Avarn Security. To work as a security guard, you also need security guard approval from the regional administrative board (we will submit that application).
