All new employees participate in an introductory program during their first year, and newly qualified teachers are assigned a mentor. Who are you? We want you, as an applicant for this position, to be a qualified secondary teacher in history and social studies. You will teach the subjects according to GY25 in English for students in year 1 of the IB program. You have the ability to plan and organize both your own and students' work efficiently, and you create a stimulating and trusting classroom climate where all students are heard. As a person, you have a good ability to inspire, engage, and challenge students in their learning based on their level of knowledge. Digital tools you use as a natural part of your teaching. You value close collaboration with colleagues and strive to always develop your teaching by contributing to collective learning. We see that you are a clear pedagogical leader with the ability for good communication with students, guardians, and colleagues. You hold teacher certification. We would like to see that you have worked as a secondary teacher for a few years, but newly qualified teachers are also welcome to apply for the position. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. The position is a fixed-term employment comprising 40% with a start date at the beginning of the 2026/2027 school year.
