We are looking for a driven Automation Engineer who wants to join the team at ABECE! About the Company: ABECE is a small, international industrial company that develops and manufactures advanced machines and complete automated production lines for the manufacturing of concrete roof tiles. The company develops the technology, machines, and control systems that customers around the world use in their production. With customers in the international market, ABECE works on exciting projects where automation, mechanical engineering, and industrial control systems are at the center. Now the company is seeking an Automation Technician who wants to become an important part of a dedicated team and contribute to developing, installing, and commissioning next-generation production solutions. About the Position: You will have a varied and hands-on role in machine-focused automation, where problem-solving and flexibility are important parts of your daily work. In this role, you will, among other things: Work with PLC and robot programming Work with motors and motor controls Work with sensors and industrial electrical automation Work closely with both machines and customers Contribute to the development and improvement of next-generation production solutions The position is based in Nyköping but also involves traveling to customers around the world. You can expect approximately 100 travel days per year, where you work on installation, commissioning, and optimization of automated production lines. You don't need to know everything from the start. ABECE is primarily looking for a person with technical interest, drive, and a willingness to develop within automation. With the right attitude, you will have the opportunity to grow into the role and eventually become an experienced automation technician. We are Looking for You if You Have: B-class driver's license Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written Post-secondary education in automation or equivalent work experience Approximately 2 years of experience in automation is a merit Knowledge of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and problem-solving Willingness and ability to travel approximately 100 days per year to customers in Europe and North America Strong technical interest, drive, and willingness to develop within automation Other Information: In this recruitment, ABECE is collaborating with Kraftsam Rekrytering och Bemanning.
