WorkNordic is now seeking an Automation Engineer for a position in an international environment. About the Company: The company designs, develops, and manufactures automation equipment. About the Role / Who We're Looking For: This role is suitable for you if you have a strong interest in technology and are seeking a position with significant responsibility. Your work approach is characterized by independence, commitment, and the ability to see both details and the bigger picture. As a person, you are thorough and confident in your role, and you draw on your previous experience in the field to quickly master new tasks. You will work broadly with contacts around the world. The position involves working abroad, around the world, approximately 40 days per year. Your Responsibilities: * PLC programming * System responsibility for various projects * Commissioning and testing * Servo programming * Software simulation and verification * Development of programming methodologies Qualifications: * You are trained as an automation engineer/automation technician or have equivalent work experience * You have at least four years of relevant work experience in automation * You have experience programming PLCs in Siemens and Rockwell * You have experience with Siemens TIA Portal * You speak Swedish and English fluently in speech and writing If you have broad experience with Siemens, including older systems, this is highly advantageous for the position.
