Job Information As a Maintenance Engineer at TGW, you work at the heart of operations where you are responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, upkeep, and development of the automation facility. The role combines hands-on technical work with analysis and improvement initiatives, making it perfect for someone who thrives in a varied and technically challenging environment. You will be part of a small team consisting of a Team Lead and three engineers where close collaboration, flexibility, and knowledge sharing are important parts of daily work. Together you work to ensure high availability and efficiency in the facility while driving improvement initiatives and developing work methods. This is a direct recruitment, meaning the recruitment process is conducted through Professionals Nord and you will be employed directly by TGW. Your Responsibilities As a Maintenance Engineer, you will among other things: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the automation facility Work with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and handle complex operational shutdowns Ensure that automation functions optimally and maintains high operational reliability Document and report maintenance work, spare parts usage, and operational disruptions in DART and CMMS systems Participate in improvement work and identify measures that increase reliability and performance Conduct root cause analyses for recurring problems and operational deviations Participate in customer meetings and contribute with technical updates on the facility Support and share knowledge with technicians and team members We Are Looking For Someone Who Has an engineering degree or equivalent experience in, for example, automation, mechatronics, electrical, or maintenance Has several years of experience from a similar technical role in industry, production, or automation Has good knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting Is comfortable reading electrical schematics and technical documentation Thrives in an operational environment where the pace is sometimes high and problem-solving is a natural part of daily work Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing Is able to work shifts or on-call as needed As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and enjoy working closely with your colleagues. You have a strong technical interest and are motivated by finding improvements and creating long-term sustainable solutions. Furthermore, you are flexible and have an easy time collaborating in a team where everyone together is responsible for reaching set goals. Working Hours Work is scheduled during daytime, but may change to 2-shift work later. Work on Saturday occurs approximately every third month, as well as on-call Sundays between 11:00–15:00.
