Apply today – we use continuous selection! ABOUT THE ROLE: As an automation engineer, you will work with PLC system programming and automation solutions in various customer projects. You'll be part of a project team where you collaborate with colleagues in areas such as design and project management to develop and deliver technically advanced solutions. You will work through the entire project process from concept development and programming to testing, simulation, and commissioning at the customer's site. Customers are primarily located in Sweden but also internationally, which means travel is involved in connection with project deliveries. Your main responsibilities: Programming and development of PLC systems, primarily Siemens Working with SCADA systems and industrial control systems Testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of automation solutions Simulation and virtual commissioning Participate in the entire project process – from concept and development to delivery Conduct installation and commissioning at the customer's site when needed Collaborate with colleagues in areas such as design, project management, and production WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO: Have completed vocational college or university engineering education in automation, electrical power, electrical engineering, or similar technical fields Have at least three years of experience working as an automation engineer or similar Have experience with PLC programming, preferably in Siemens or Beckhoff Have experience with SCADA or other industrial control systems Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Have a valid driver's license (Category B) It is advantageous if you have experience with robot programming, maintenance and troubleshooting in industrial automation, machine optimization, or design within electrical or mechanical engineering. Experience from industries such as energy, pharmaceutical, food, or medical technology is also considered advantageous.
