Your new position
For our Electrical & Automation group in Västerås, we are looking for you to work in process automation.
Our customers' facilities and processes often require the highest availability, which is also reflected in our assignments. The work is characterized by great freedom with responsibility toward both colleagues and customers. You will work on various assignments and be stationed in Västerås, but assignments may require visits to our customers in connection with gathering information, project meetings, and commissioning. Our customers are primarily active in the energy, water/wastewater, and industrial sectors.
Your profile
We are looking for an experienced automation engineer who enjoys working both in a team and independently, directly with clients. You are structured, take responsibility, and want to contribute to a good overall result through your work. You want to develop both your own and the team's competence by learning from others' experiences and sharing your own.
Our requirements
Engineering education or equivalent with a focus on automation.
Several years of experience with ABB 800xA.
Experience with other PLC and SCADA systems is advantageous (e.g., Mitsubishi, Siemens, GE iFix, and Aveva).
Good process knowledge and experience from water/wastewater, energy, or industrial facilities.
Characterized by being communicative and service-oriented.
You master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing and have good knowledge of English. A driver's license is required as business travel occurs.
