Our automation department is distributed across three offices: Sollentuna, Västberga, and Södertälje. We're now recruiting a new colleague for our Sollentuna office. About the Role as Automation Engineer As an automation engineer, you'll be a key contact for our customers and will work on creating smart, energy-efficient, and sustainable properties. You'll be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing control and monitoring systems that ensure operational reliability, comfort, and reduced energy consumption. Your Responsibilities As an Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for technical solutions, contribute to project economics, and drive projects from start to finish – with a strong focus on quality and cost. All our projects are set up differently, and your tasks may vary from project to project, giving you an exciting and development-filled workday. Your role includes, among other things: Engineering and design Programming and commissioning of PLC, DUC, and HMI/SCADA systems Logistics and planning Material procurement Contact with subcontractors for installation and control cabinets Participation in various project meetings Leading or participating in coordinated functional tests and inspections Operational supervision of automation technicians and other team members on projects Troubleshooting and technical support to assist customers and colleagues with technical questions and issues We Believe You: Have a genuine interest in building automation and technology Enjoy working in a team, but also have the ability to plan and act independently Are a team player who contributes to both colleagues and customers Appreciate organization and order, take responsibility, and have strong communication skills See customer service as a natural part of your work Have an understanding of and knowledge in construction contracts Your Background We're looking for someone with the right attitude – the desire to learn, the desire to share knowledge, the desire to be challenged, and the desire to go that extra mile beyond what's required. Beyond your drive, we'd like to see that you have: At least four years of experience in building automation as an automation technician/engineer Experience with manufacturers such as Saia, Distech, Larmia, Schneider, and Webport is a plus Solid knowledge of various communication protocols such as Modbus, Bacnet, and M-Bus A structured, thorough, and solution-oriented personality who thrives with new challenges and dynamic work A valid driver's license (B category) Strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Why Choose Us?
