We are seeking an Automation Engineer for our Electrical/Automation department in Karlskoga.

About the department:
The Electrical/Automation Team consists of a total of 47 employees working with daily operations and maintenance, projects, and automation. As an Automation Engineer, you have a central role in the team and close collaboration with customers and colleagues in your own department, as well as other departments.
Our main workplace is in Karlskoga, and several of our customers operate in the defense industry, but we also have assignments in other locations and business travel may occur.
Your tasks and areas of responsibility:
Work as an Automation Engineer is varied and you will have significant responsibility and influence over the planning and execution of work.
The work takes place both at customer sites and internally on our own projects. We work on building new systems and equipment as well as continuous improvement work and projects in existing systems.
You have an important role in building and maintaining trust with our customers together with other team members.
· Perform programming in PLC and SCADA systems.
· Work with systems and solutions for logging and traceability.
· Work actively with continuous improvements and safety.
· Troubleshooting of production equipment and associated electrical equipment.
Your qualifications:
· Several years of industry experience and work experience in the field that allows you to work independently internally or with customers.
· Good knowledge of Swedish and English
· Class B driver's license
· Swedish citizenship. The position requires that you pass a security clearance
· Beneficial to have experience with Siemens, ABB, Rockwell, Schneider.
