Responsibilities and Tasks We are now seeking Automation and Communications Engineers who want to strengthen our technology department. In the Technology & Control Systems Department, approximately 50 engineers work with specialist expertise in automation, communications, control equipment, and design. Your Role as Automation and Communications Engineer Participate in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of automation and communications equipment Participate in projects involving renovation and new construction of automation and communications solutions and ensure the implementation of new, ongoing projects within the area Help develop design, procure materials, construct, implement, install, and commission systems Manage supplier and contractor contacts Our work takes place in environments that sometimes involve high altitudes and potential risks, which is why safety and risk awareness are always in focus. At the same time, our daily work is characterized by collaboration, problem-solving, and the opportunity to work close to the technology that keeps Sweden's electricity grid running. Travel is a natural part of the work, mostly during the day but overnight stays occur. Requirements Specification Our approach is characterized by freedom with responsibility, and as a person you are therefore driven by taking on challenges, solving problems, and reaching set goals. Since you will have contact with both internal and external contacts, we are looking for someone who is service-oriented and enjoys working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues. In addition to your personal qualities, we would like you to have: Education in telecommunications, automation, or electrical power, or equivalent practical experience that the employer deems equivalent Several years of experience working in telecommunications, automation, or electrical power Experience with technologies such as fiber optics and radio-based communications, for example 4G and radio links, station bus-based networks according to IEC61850 standard, and IP-based networks You communicate easily in both Swedish and English in writing and speech. Driver's license category B is required.
