For our Automation Engineering department, we are seeking an automation engineer who, in a project-based operation, develops automation solutions for our high-tech and unique production of high-voltage cables. Develop automation solutions in a collaborative team. We are investing in updating production with the latest technology and developing innovative automation systems for our cable manufacturing. Within Automation Engineering, we work not only on electrical and automation solutions, but also on process development, SCADA applications, integration with higher-level systems, and sub-project management. Before automation solutions are implemented in production, we have a laboratory operation where our employees can test and quality assure their solutions. Your main responsibilities will be: Develop small and large automation solutions in project form, including selection of hardware and software PLC programming and electrical design on machines and production equipment Review and validation of automation and electrical design solutions on both new machines and retrofitting of existing machines Participate in budgeting and quotation work for automation projects Manage sub-projects Provide production line support As an automation engineer, you will be an important part of the Automation Engineering team, consisting of approximately 15 employees who are mostly experienced engineers with diverse competencies and experience in electrical design and automation.
