BUS DRIVER
(position code according to professional classification 8331 01)
Work location: Demenes Municipality Administration, Demenes Parish Economic Department, Briģenes iela 2, Demene, Demenes Parish, Augšdaugava Municipality, LV-5442.
We offer:
An employment contract for an indefinite period;
Normal working hours (average 40 hours per week) with accumulated time tracking, according to the work schedule;
Remuneration (hourly rate) before tax payment:
7.46 EUR/hour – for actual time spent driving the bus, according to trip sheets;
5.23 EUR/hour – for other job duties (technical maintenance, repair work, territory improvement work, vehicle upkeep, etc.);
Social guarantees and health insurance after the probation period ends.
Main job responsibilities:
Ensure transportation of preschool children, students, municipal institution employees, and amateur groups according to approved student routes and assignments;
Take responsibility for the vehicle's technical condition, proper operation, and preparation for technical inspection;
Perform daily bus maintenance, minor repairs, and washing;
Timely and accurately complete trip sheets and submit them to accounting;
During periods without transportation, participate in municipal territory maintenance work.
Requirements for candidates:
Secondary or secondary vocational education;
Category B and D driver's license;
Valid professional vehicle driver qualification certificate (Code 95);
Latvian language skills at intermediate level, stage 1 (B1);
Knowledge of traffic regulations and passenger transportation.
Understanding of bus technical structure and documentation.
High sense of responsibility and accuracy, good communication skills.
