Latvijas Banka Reģ.Nr.90000158236 Junior Auditor in the Market Participants Audit Management The Compliance Audit Division of the Market Participants Audit Management supervises financial market participants, including credit institutions, financial institutions, and cryptocurrency service providers, to ensure they have established effective internal control systems compliant with regulatory requirements for the management of various risks. You will have the opportunity to: conduct on-site inspections at financial market participants, including credit institutions, financial institutions, and cryptocurrency service providers, as part of an inspection team; analyze information provided by institutions regarding measures taken to remedy deficiencies identified during inspections and discuss disputed matters; participate in the improvement of Latvijas Banka's on-site inspection methodologies and processes; cooperate with Latvian law enforcement authorities and foreign financial market supervision authorities. We expect from you: a bachelor's degree or second-level professional higher education in social sciences (economics or financial management), law, or natural sciences (mathematics). The candidate may be a final-year student; knowledge in the IT field and skills in working with artificial intelligence tools are considered advantageous; basic knowledge of audit principles, methods, standards, and audit procedures is desirable; understanding of financial technologies, including those related to cryptocurrency service providers, is desirable; excellent knowledge of Latvian and English languages for cooperation with international partners; analytical work skills, responsibility, accuracy in completing work tasks, and good communication skills.
