Jelgavas novada pašvaldība announces a competition for the position of Auditor-Financial Analyst at the Central Administration Main job responsibilities: 1. conduct audits in municipal institutions, structural units and capital companies, providing an independent assessment of the legality of the audited entities' operations, and the proper and lawful use of financial and other resources; 2. compile audit results, prepare written findings, conclusions, and recommendations; 3. review and analyze the use of municipal budget expenditures, assessing their compliance with the approved budget and the efficiency of their use; 4. conduct financial statement analysis for capital companies. Requirements for candidates: 1. higher education in economics, finance, management, law or higher education in another social science field; 2. at least 2 years of work experience in audit, economics, finance or accounting; 3. ability to analyze and compile diverse, complex information; 4. ability to communicate professionally and appropriately both verbally and in writing in the state language; 5. ability to draw objective and well-founded conclusions; 6. very good skills (experienced user level) in working with MS Office programs (Word, Excel) and presentation creation and data visualization programs (PowerPoint, Canva, etc.).
