In Gästrikland, we have two hearing centers, one in Gävle and one in Sandviken. In total, we have ten audiologists and one audiometrist, as well as three administrators. Technical audiology services with three technicians and one engineer are part of our care unit, and we have close collaboration with hearing rehabilitation and the ear, nose, and throat clinic (ENT). Right now we are in a phase of development and exciting projects that make working with us fun and inspiring, with great opportunities to advance Swedish audiology.
We are now seeking an audiologist for a six-month temporary position with the possibility of extension or a permanent position, as one of our colleagues has applied for further education. The position will be filled if the colleague is accepted into their program.

WORK TASKS
As an audiologist with us, there are good development opportunities. At the ear, nose, and throat clinic (ENT), we have an audiologist and several ENT physicians who work closely with us. You will work with both diagnostics and technical rehabilitation. All audiologists are able to work independently with cerumen removal after training, and we use REM for quality assurance. You have the opportunity to choose a focus area based on your interests, for example the hearing loss team or tinnitus team. There is currently the possibility to remotely adjust certain hearing aids, and we also offer group evaluation for our patients. If you are an audiologist and only want to work with diagnostics, that is also an option for us.

QUALIFICATIONS

• be a licensed audiologist.

Duration: start August 17, 2026 through February 12, 2027 with possible opportunity for extension.
