About the Operation Within Region Västernorrland, approximately 30 AT-blocks are being filled in spring 2027 with 18 months of service. We recruit AT-physicians with the region's future competency supply in focus, and as an AT-physician you are important to us. Our ambition is that you will develop during your AT service and after completing AT, you will want to continue being part of Region Västernorrland. At Region Västernorrland, you can apply for AT in Sundsvall, Sollefteå, or Örnsköldsvik. We offer a developmental AT that is well-prepared for specialist service. We have one of Sweden's highest AT salaries. If you live outside Västernorrland and need to relocate to do AT with us, we offer relocation allowance up to 20,000kr. AT in Region Västernorrland consists of 18 months of service divided into surgical operations (4.5 months), medical care (4.5 months), psychiatry (3 months), and general medicine (6 months). You also have the opportunity to extend your service with one month of elective placement. The AT service begins with joint introduction and training 2027-02-22 - 2027-03-07 (weeks 8-9). Beyond that, employment continues with clinical placement either week 10 or week 24. In your application, we want you to attach a CV and cover letter, where you state why you are seeking our region and which location you primarily want to do your AT at. If you have work certificates from healthcare-related work, we want you to attach these as well. For those who move forward in the process, we will request extracts from the police criminal register; it is advantageous to have this ready in case of an interview. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
