Recruitment Process We continuously contact candidates who are relevant for an initial interview. The position will be filled when we have found the right person, which may happen before the application deadline. Your application will be processed by staff at Storsjöbygdens personliga assistans, together with the principal, and any relatives, legal guardian, or other parties involved. If the position involves working with a minor principal, an extract from the criminal records register is required. Child Perspective in Recruitment At Storsjöbygdens personliga assistans, we carefully follow the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which means that if you apply for a position involving work with minors, the recruitment process will include specific steps to ensure that the child's will and needs are taken into account. When employed where you work with a minor principal, training on the child perspective is also included. Terms of Employment If you advance in the recruitment process, you need to be able to prove your identity and demonstrate that you have the right to work in Sweden. To sign your employment contract and time reports, you must have a BankID. To ensure that we maintain high quality in assistance, new employees will participate in a web-based introductory training (approximately 1 hour), preferably before the employment start but no later than one month from the start of employment. Training and good knowledge of work as a personal assistant are fundamental prerequisites for quality performance. To be able to work as a personal assistant, completion of the Social Board's training "Personlig assistent som yrke – en webbintroduktion" is a requirement for all employees at Storsjöbygdens personliga assistans. The purpose of the training is to provide good knowledge and understanding of the various aspects of assistance and for your important work as a personal assistant. The training covers, among other things, work environment, documentation, quality, and various communication methods to prevent difficult situations. For internal registration, send the course certificate to [email protected]. This applies whether you participate in the training individually or in a group. For group participation, the supervisor emails the course certificate, participant list, and date of the training session to us. Estimated time for completion is approximately 60 minutes. The training should be prioritized and completed within your first month as an employee with us. Complete the Social Board's basic training here.
