I need help with most aspects of my daily life. Everything from pursuing my interests to getting dressed and undressed, using the toilet, or showering.
I have no problem communicating through speech and writing. I can stand to some extent with the help of assistive devices, and I have all the equipment I need: a wheelchair, a permobil, a slide board, a shower chair, a walker, and a lift. I have my own car that I can drive myself and also have access to adapted transport services. I have FSHD (Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy) in a severe form. FSHD affects virtually all muscles in the body to varying degrees, progressively weakens over time, and causes chronic pain. I also become mentally tired easily due to living with the physical conditions and limitations the disease imposes.
I am looking for assistants willing to work daytime hours 07:00-17:30, primarily Monday-Friday, though weekend work requests may arise. I hope you are a thoughtful person who can take instruction well.
