Right now, we are looking for a new assistant at 50-75% for a fantastic 15-year-old girl with significant medical needs in Västerås. About the Role
As a personal assistant, you will work closely with a creative and smart 15-year-old girl and her family. You will be with her in her daily life, both at home and possibly at school. Your tasks will include medical care duties as well as care activities, and you will have a meaningful role in her development and well-being. We are looking for an assistant who is willing to engage and build a close relationship with our client.
Qualifications
To fit this role, we would like you to have the following qualifications:
Mandatory requirements:
Experience with medical care duties.
You are calm, confident, patient, and empathetic.
You have fluent command of Swedish in speech and writing.
You are a non-smoker.
You should like and be comfortable with animals.
Desirable qualifications:
Experience working with NPF diagnoses.
Driver's license and access to a car.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will be varied and include both medical and care-related tasks. You will:
Manage and monitor feeding tubes.
Handle urostomy and ileostomy.
Monitor central line for nutritional support.
Administer medication through gastrostomy and perform hygiene routines around lines.
Operate a wheelchair as needed and participate in rehabilitation training activities.
You will also be part of a warm and supportive family environment, where you will have the opportunity to build a close relationship with our child.
