One of the Army Staff's focus areas is building the new army. An army that focuses on the Army's capabilities in the field and in doing so build new as well as restructure existing units. In parallel, the Army Staff leads units both nationally and internationally. The Army Staff develops and production-leads military units within the Army as well as subordinate organizational units consisting of units and schools. About the unit The Army Staff is its own organizational unit within the Swedish Armed Forces where the Technology and Maintenance Office Ground (TVK Mark) is included as a department in the Procurement Unit. TVK Mark is responsible for material maintenance, material utilization and material maintenance economy concerning the Swedish Armed Forces' ground material, as well as ensuring that the material is maintained in accordance with system objectives. The position The position of systems engineer is varied. The work is primarily within the framework of information logistics and system and material handovers, which means planning, coordinating and leading. The position involves close cooperation with material system details within TVK Mark, material area responsible, the Army's units, the Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) and industry. As a systems engineer, great demands will be placed on independent work and understanding of information logistics and its impact on the Army's capabilities and ultimately the technical systems' capabilities. Main work tasks The work consists mainly of tasks within technical service that are of an analytical and evaluative nature, where development or adaptation often occurs. The tasks are complex but are mainly found within the following examples of work tasks: Propose measures on systems to ensure cost-effective maintenance and availability. Contribute to increased availability for all technical systems through logistics analysis and spare parts optimization. Create control of master data and ensure that it is adapted for the system solution that provides the best possible support for respective operations. Plan and conduct analyses on ground systems and review results of, maintenance preparations, updating of maintenance systems and production of technical documentation. Follow up and review the operational reliability of technical systems within the framework of integrated logistical support. Participate in the development and improvement of information flows and master data for better results and economy. The organization is under growth which means that development of working methods, models and methods, together with both internal and external actors must take place. The work requires the ability to travel and work at inconvenient times. Count on at least 2 days' work at another location every other week. Qualifications Bachelor's, university or civil engineer's degree or other equivalent education or work experience that the employer deems appropriate. Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish Good administrative ability Good knowledge of the Office package Category B driving license Meritorious Current and relevant experience of work within ILS (Integrated Logistics Support). Experience in project management. Experience regarding material handovers between FMV and FM. Work in FMV Teamcenter and/or SAP/PRIO. Experience in material supply/supply provision and disposal within the Swedish Armed Forces or civil industry. Experience or education regarding contracts and procurement within public operations. Experience in flows regarding spare parts (RD), limited repairable spare parts (BRE) and exchange units (UE) and their function in FM. Experience in basic and administrative data as well as master data within FMV and the Swedish Armed Forces or civil industry. Personal qualities As a person you have a good ability to see wholes, plan and cooperate with other specialists to build necessary bridges between different parts of the operations. You are also creative, problem-solving and task-focused and you have a good analytical ability, are curious and enjoy developing and being challenged. Communicative, service-oriented and social are also qualities that fit you well. Last but not least, you are used to and enjoy both working at times in high tempo and prioritizing your work tasks. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
