One of the Army Staff's focus areas is building the new Army. An army that focuses on the Army's capability in the field and in doing so, build new as well as restructure existing units. In parallel, the Army Staff leads units both nationally and internationally. The Army Staff develops and production-leads combat units within the Army as well as subordinate organizational units consisting of units and schools. The above combined with continuing to establish the Army Staff as a cohesive and unifying force means that the work tasks are very varied, developmental and dynamic. Information about the position The Army Staff is its own organizational unit within the Swedish Armed Forces where the Technology and Maintenance Office Land (TVK Mark) is included as a department in the Equipment Unit. TVK Mark is responsible for material maintenance, material utilization and material maintenance economy within the Swedish Armed Forces, and to ensure that the material is maintained in accordance with system objectives. The TVK Mark department consists of management, coordination section and five material system sections. The position as Handler Technical Service (HL TT) indirect fire (IE) is part of the Boden/Umeå section. Here are also system detail BV and CBRN which we work closely with. Together we are approximately 30 employees located in Boden, Umeå, Östersund and Enköping. We are all staff members in the army staff. Work tasks As a technical service handler, you work with management of material systems. The work tasks are varied, from administrative support to colleagues and managers to participating in developing solutions to technical problems for our material systems. Delivery inspections of the material systems are also part of the work, which means that travel occurs periodically. Collaboration with other units, central staffs, function centers, FMV and industry is also included. You will among other things: Represent the Swedish Armed Forces at delivery inspections of material Support with monitoring of material status, deviations and technical orders Participate in user and maintenance meetings Prepare analysis and decision-making materials from support systems (PRIO, LIFT etc.) Support with supply, distribution and procurement of spare parts Qualifications Secondary education or other work experience that the employer deems equivalent Good ability to understand and express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office applications Work experience from the Swedish Armed Forces in logistics, primarily technical service Category B driving license Meritorious Technical system courses in systems relevant to the position Extensive technical experience of the Swedish Armed Forces IE systems Experience working with system security Knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' material supply and material processes Experience with the Swedish Armed Forces support systems LIFT and SAP (PRIO) Personal qualities We are looking for someone with a solid interest in technology, good teamwork skills and an aptitude for building networks.
