Södertörn District Court is now seeking an archives assistant for a temporary position with the registration and archives unit, which is part of the administrative department. The unit is responsible for the handling and registration of cases and matters received by the court, archiving, and matters concerning the release of documents, etc. The unit has 12 employees. Job Responsibilities As an archives assistant at Södertörn District Court, you are offered varied and developmental work in the registration and archives unit. The work includes, among other things, being part of the unit's ongoing work with sorting, disposal, cataloging, and other tasks that may become relevant to the unit. As an archives assistant, you may work with both archival work and registration. The work is estimated to be approximately one day per week, but the scope may vary depending on operational needs. Intermittent employment in the form of a fixed-term contract for one year, estimated at 1 day/week. Qualification Requirements We are looking for you who: - have completed a university or college degree of at least 60 higher education credits in archival science, - have current experience working within the Swedish Courts, - have current experience with the release of public documents, - have practical experience in archive preservation and in organizing and cataloging archives with IT support, - have experience with service-oriented work in archival operations, as the role involves many external and internal contacts, - have good computer skills and experience working in various IT systems. It is a merit if you have insight into the district court's working methods and procedures.
