About the Assignment
As a consultant at the agency, you will work independently with varied administrative tasks within archive and case management. You will be responsible for, among other things, contacts with central archives, archive logistics, creation of archive inventories, organizing and weeding of archives, and delivery to permanent storage. The role also includes registering, preparing, and processing oversight matters as well as posting departmental invoices in the accounting system UBW. You will provide administrative support to managers and inspectors and have many contact points, both internally and externally. Furthermore, you are expected to contribute to developing and quality assuring processes and routines as well as handling other administrative tasks within the section.
We are looking for you who have
higher education or equivalent education and at least one (1) year of work experience from similar work. Alternatively, at least three (3) years of work experience as an archivist
practical experience from public sector operations
knowledge of MS Office or equivalent knowledge of document and case management systems (for example Public360, W3D3, Platina, Iipax One Visual Arkiv, etc.)
familiarity with laws and regulations governing public operations and archivists' functions and responsibilities
ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
knowledge of standards such as OAIS, METS, PREMIS, PAIMAS
ability to express yourself and communicate in English orally and in writing.
