Ref: 20261892 We are now seeking an engaged and driven archivist for a parental leave cover position of approximately 12 months. Duties As an archivist, you will have a central role in coordinating the administration's archive organization and ensuring that archival care and information management maintain high quality. You are responsible for applying and monitoring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, with particular focus on the principle of public access. In this role, you will serve as expert support on archive matters and conduct disposal appraisals and prepare decision-making documents for the board. You will work closely with the information security coordinator, data protection officer, and other colleagues to quality-assure the handling of public documents, from registration to archiving or disposal. Additionally, you will support users of the administration's document and case management systems and contribute to developing routines, governing documents, and working methods within the archive area. Through training initiatives and information dissemination, you will help the operations strengthen transparency and good information management, while contributing to building a modern and efficient archive organization. Qualifications We are seeking someone who has: Academic qualification equivalent to a bachelor's degree (180 credits), of which at least 60 credits in archival science Experience in archive management, registration, and case management Experience working in digital document and case management systems Good knowledge of laws and regulations governing document management in public operations, including public access and confidentiality legislation Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written It is meritorious if you have: Education in public access and confidentiality Experience conducting information and training initiatives Experience leading and coordinating work within document and case management Experience working in the document and case management system Platina Experience preparing archive reports and guidelines for archive management. About the Workplace The Board Office is a central support function within the preschool administration and serves as the hub for the administration's governance, case preparation, and legal support. The unit is responsible for coordinating, quality-assuring, and developing processes related to the board's case preparation, document and archive management, legal support, as well as information security, crisis, and preparedness matters. The Board Office supports preschool operations, administration management, and the board, and contributes to good governance, transparency, and quality in decision-making processes.
