Would you like to work with governance and support in information management, develop procedures and regulations, conduct information assessments, while creating social value? As an archivist at the Swedish Tax Agency, you will have a varied and educational job. Discover a versatile assignment! About the job The Swedish Tax Agency works with a wide range of activities and therefore has an exciting archive structure with complex dependencies on various regulations. You work to develop the Swedish Tax Agency's information management by developing internal governance, for example through document management plans. You review that information management is correct according to applicable laws, ordinances, regulations, and internal governing documents, and provide support for measures if needed. You conduct information assessments, set requirements for the development of system support and work methods, and participate in competency-enhancing initiatives. The Swedish Tax Agency's information is almost exclusively electronic today, but we still manage many archives on analog data carriers. You will work together with other archiving and recordkeeping specialists to ensure that the Swedish Tax Agency's information management is transparent, sustainable, and cost-effective at the same time. You conduct disposal investigations in collaboration with representatives from operations and IT. You also have contacts with the National Archives and our Legal Department. At the same time, you will provide consultative support to the work at our central archive regarding documents on analog data carriers and older archive structures, which is why you must be able to understand how operations functioned historically. You are expected to be able to make confidentiality assessments in complex disclosure matters. You will work with change management and serve as an ambassador for modern information management throughout the organization. You see opportunities to develop work methods and processes and translate ideas into solutions that create value for the business. You also drive issues forward with persistence and commitment, even when the work is complex and requires long-term perspective. You will be part of Document Management Section 1, which together with Document Management Section 2 is responsible for administrative governance and support in the field of information management at the Swedish Tax Agency. In our section, we are 13 colleagues at six offices. You will be placed at one of the locations where the document unit operates. Possible placement locations are specified under Good to know. It is desirable that you have current and relevant experience in cooperation with the National Archives, for example through requests for disposal regulations, and that you have current and relevant experience in cooperation with other government agencies. It is also desirable if you have current and relevant experience in leading competency-enhancing initiatives.
