Do you want to work with governance and support in information management, develop procedures and regulations, conduct information appraisals, while creating societal value? As an Archivist at the Swedish Tax Agency, you will have a varied and educational job. Discover a multifaceted assignment!
About the job
The Swedish Tax Agency works with a wide range of activities and therefore has an interesting archive structure with complex dependencies on various regulations. You will work to develop the Tax Agency's information management by developing internal governance, for example through records management plans. You review that information management is correct according to applicable laws, regulations, directives and internal governance documents, and provide support for measures when needed. You conduct information appraisals, set requirements for the development of system support and work methods, and participate in competency-building initiatives. The Tax Agency's information is almost exclusively electronic today, but we still manage many archives on analog data carriers.
You will work together with other specialists in archival management and records management to ensure that the Tax Agency's information management is transparent, long-term and cost-effective. You conduct disposal reviews in cooperation with representatives from the business and IT. You also maintain contacts with the National Archives and our Legal Department.
At the same time, you will provide consultative support for work at our central archives regarding documents on analog data carriers and older archive formations, which is why you must be able to understand how the business has functioned historically. You are expected to be able to make confidentiality assessments on complex disclosure issues. You will work with change management and serve as an ambassador for modern information management throughout the organization. You see opportunities to develop work methods and processes and convert ideas into solutions that create value for the business. You also drive issues forward with perseverance and commitment, even when the work is complex and requires long-term perspective.
You will be part of Records Management Section 1, which together with Records Management Section 2 is responsible for administrative governance and support in the area of information management at the Tax Agency. Our section has 13 colleagues at six offices. You will be placed at one of the locations where the records unit operates. Possible placement locations are specified under Good to know.
