Join our team! Valmiera Municipality (hereinafter – Municipality) invites applications for the position of Architect at Valmiera Municipality Building Authority (permanent position). If you have the desire to: - ensure compliance with construction legality and principles of creating an aesthetically pleasing and safe environment in the Municipality's administrative territory; - oversee adherence to architectural quality principles, particularly regarding the integration of structures into the landscape and urban environment; - review construction proposals and verify compliance with conditions specified in decisions; - organize public consultations on construction proposals; - work with the "Construction Information System" (BIS) and databases; and if you have: - second-level professional or academic higher education in architecture; - an architect's independent practice certificate (considered an advantage); - at least two years of work experience in architecture related to construction project development and application of construction regulations; - knowledge of construction regulatory acts; - experience applying industry terminology, construction-related regulations and standards; - competencies: strong collaboration skills, logical thinking and analytical abilities, ability to work intensively, independently and take responsibility; - good skills in MS Office and office equipment, Construction Information System; - category B driver's license; we offer: - dynamic, interesting and responsible work with opportunities to realize ideas in a development-oriented Municipality; - base salary during trial period 1851 EUR before tax, after trial period 2003 EUR before tax; - opportunity to receive vacation bonus for work-life balance in recognition of good performance; - employer co-financed health insurance after the end of the trial period, as well as other social guarantees/benefits in accordance with work results and regulatory requirements; - opportunities for professional development and growth in a team of knowledgeable and dedicated colleagues.
