No. 90011524360) institution Riga City Municipality Department of City Development invites applications for Architecture Department Architects Division vacancy Chief Architect The Riga City Municipality Department of City Development is the leading institution of Riga City Municipality in the field of strategic development of the city of Riga, ensuring balanced development planning of the capital and promoting the competitiveness of the city's economy. We will entrust you with: evaluating, coordinating and accepting construction projects, declaration of conformity forms, explanatory notes and other construction documentation in accordance with legal requirements; in case of non-compliance, prepare a reasoned and legally substantiated draft decision on requesting information and extending or refusing the decision-making deadline; working with the Construction Information System; providing consultations to individuals and legal entities on matters within competence and helping to resolve them; preparing drafts of responses, administrative acts and certificates; preparing draft decisions on organizing public consultation of construction intentions and participating in the review and evaluation of public consultation materials; preparing and providing suggestions for drafting normative acts; participating in the work of various working groups, councils and commissions. We expect from you: higher education in architecture (professional qualification of architect obtained); preferred work experience in a state or municipal institution; high sense of responsibility and cooperation skills; excellent computer skills (MS Office) and experience with office equipment; knowledge of the state language at the highest level.
