Would you like to brighten everyday life and improve the quality of life for Linköping residents? With us, you can make a meaningful difference and help make Linköping an even better place. Welcome! Your Responsibilities As a case coordinator, you will play a central role in our information management. Your main task is to coordinate, develop, and lead information management work at the department. This includes developing and coordinating approaches to information management, contributing to the development of processes and procedures, and creating governing documents to ensure proper records and document management. You will serve as the department's records coordinator and collaborate with the city archives and other central functions within the municipality and department. You will train employees and provide support regarding information management. You will also lead the transition to e-archives together with other professionals and develop working methods supported by digital tools. There is another case coordinator on the unit who currently has a connection to our records office. You will work closely together and share responsibility for the department's information management plan (IHP). While taking overall responsibility for strategic development issues, you will be operationally confident in transforming plans into action in daily work. Together, we will continue to shape the role. Your Workplace The Social Department is a department that was established in January 2024. The Social Department has approximately 1,500 employees and about 60 managers. The department consists of various divisions. The case coordinator role is located in the Administration, Support and Service division, which is a division with four units and approximately 70 employees. The division is based on the needs of core operations and provides various forms of support and service within, for example, archiving, records management, administration, digitalization, and facility matters. The case coordinator will be assigned to the Administrative Support unit where there is one unit manager, one unit coordinator, and 21 employees. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays during office hours, and we apply flexible working arrangements to give you greater flexibility. There is also an opportunity for remote work when operations permit. We are centrally located in Linköping in newly renovated premises at Drottninggatan 45. About You We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of the regulations that govern public authorities' information management. You have higher education in, for example, administration, law, public administration, behavioral science, political science, or archival science. You also have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You think strategically and view the department's information management from a broad perspective. We see that you have experience working in this field and within the public sector. It is an advantage if you have experience working in public administration, as well as experience working with public access and confidentiality. Experience with developing information management work in a municipality or authority is also considered a merit for the position. As a person, you are self-directed; you take responsibility for your tasks, structure your approach independently, and drive your processes forward efficiently. You are flexible and change-oriented, which means you can easily adapt to changed circumstances, quickly shift your perspective, and see opportunities in change. Working with goals and results in mind comes naturally to you; you focus on results in your priorities and adjust your direction when goals change. Furthermore, you are persuasive and have an ability to influence others and get them to change opinions or behavior in professional settings. You also possess strong specialist knowledge, understand the professional aspects of the work particularly well, continuously maintain your knowledge, and are willing to act as a knowledge resource for others. We look forward to receiving your application!
