Common conditions you will encounter as an occupational therapist include: reduced hand function, pain, neurological issues, cognitive impairment, and mental health challenges. The work also includes prescribing assistive devices and certifications for home adaptations. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan is developed. Work is conducted at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Some work can be performed remotely. Patient treatment occurs both individually and in groups. The position involves close collaboration with other professionals, both within your own clinic and with external partners. You and your colleagues are jointly responsible with your manager for the development of the clinic's operations in ongoing improvement work. About You You are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary care is beneficial, but we also welcome newly graduated therapists. If you have supervisor training and/or further/advanced training, courses, or knowledge in hand rehabilitation or mental health, that is also beneficial. We are looking for someone who is attentive, has good communication skills, and can identify individuals' unique needs as you meet many different people. You can plan your work efficiently and in an organized manner based on the clinic's goals. As workload varies and unforeseen events can occur, we see that you are flexible and independent. Other Information This position is a parental leave temporary placement with the possibility of extension. Work-related travel is required. A class B driver's license is required.
