Förslöv Health Center has grown in recent years and we now have approximately 6280 registered patients and 24 dedicated staff members working in teams consisting of physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, a social worker, physiotherapists, a dietitian, and medical secretaries. Our facilities have also been expanded and the operations have been conducted in completely newly renovated premises since fall 2022. Within our area, the units collaborate to utilize expertise, strengthen continuity, and create a safe and sustainable work environment. You will work closely with your occupational therapy colleagues at Delfinen Health Center in Höganäs and at Laxen Health Center in Ängelholm. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As an occupational therapist with us, you will have varied tasks including both clinic visits and home visits where you meet patients of all ages. You will be an important part of our interdisciplinary team and work closely with several different professional categories to together create safe and accessible care for our patients. As an occupational therapist, you are the first point of contact for diagnosis and treatment of injuries to the hand, forearm, and elbow. Your tasks also include participating in cognitive assessments and prescribing and fitting assistive devices. The role of Rehabilitation Coordinator will also be included in the position. QUALIFICATIONS To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you have a genuine interest in primary care and enjoy a role where you can combine independent work with close collaboration with other professionals. As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and confident in your professional role. You have good communication skills and always work with the patient's needs in focus. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Regarding the formal requirements for the position, we welcome you if you are a licensed occupational therapist with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale is also a requirement.
