The Rehabilitation Unit is part of the Social Services Department and consists of seven occupational therapists and six physical therapists. We work in close collaboration with other care and support personnel within the municipality's special residences, short-term accommodations, home health care, and home services, as well as for individuals receiving services under the LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). We serve the entire Härjedalen region and operate from the locations Funäsdalen, Hede, and Sveg. Work location: Sveg. This position is a temporary contract at 100% with the possibility of extension. Recruiting and interviews are held continuously during the application period. Start date 2026-08-01 or by agreement. Job Responsibilities - You will work with assessment and training in activities, as well as guidance and instruction for patients, family members, and care personnel. Your responsibilities also include home adaptations and assistive device prescriptions. Qualifications Requirements: - Licensed occupational therapist or expected to obtain licensure by the agreed start date. - Class B driving license. - Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. To work in care of the elderly and adults with functional impairments, a criminal record certificate is required. Meritorious: - Previous experience in municipal activities within both elderly care and LSS services. - Completed specialized training in transfer techniques. Beyond appropriate education and experience, great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
