About the role Do you want to make a difference for people experiencing mental health challenges and complex support needs? As an occupational therapist in social psychiatry, you work to strengthen individuals' participation, independence, and structure in their daily lives. You have an important responsibility under the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) for people receiving services from the employment and social services administration, with a particular focus on housing and housing support in the individual's home. You are responsible for occupational therapy assessments, planning, follow-up, and assistive device prescriptions for people receiving services under the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). The focus is on cognitive support, activity balance, structure, activity training, and rehabilitation. An important part of the role is also to mentor staff in a recovery-oriented approach and transfer techniques, both manual and with lifts. You will become part of a multidisciplinary team with nurses, educational coordinators, and supervisors within social psychiatry, and you will contribute to the development of this work. Together we develop approaches that strengthen quality for our target group. You will have support from experienced occupational therapy colleagues and will be based at Kristallen in central Lund, although much of the work takes place in users' homes. You collaborate with both internal and external partners. We are looking for you We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. You have an interest in or experience working with users who have mental health challenges and functional impairments. You are solution-focused. You collaborate with humility, engagement, and curiosity. You have good Swedish in speech and writing. You hold a driver's license (Category B). You have experience with transfer techniques including lifts and lift slings. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. It is an advantage to have experience with supervision, assistive device prescription, and documentation in Lifecare.
