About Us The Rehabilitation Clinic operates at both locations of Blekingesjukhuset. The clinic is responsible for rehabilitation services at the hospital in both inpatient care and specialized outpatient care, as well as team rehabilitation. The Occupational Therapy Department at Blekingesjukhuset in Karlskrona addresses the need for occupational therapists across the hospital's departments, such as pediatrics, neurology, geriatrics, orthopedics, and medicine. Additionally, we provide specialized outpatient services in areas including pain management, neurology, oncology, rheumatology, pediatrics, and hand rehabilitation. The Occupational Therapy team consists of 16 employees, including occupational therapists and rehabilitation nursing assistants. Our work group has a great atmosphere, cares for one another, and continuously shares knowledge and experience through daily contact and in-house training. We are now looking for a new colleague to join our happy team! About the Position Occupational Therapy in Karlskrona offers broad activities with great opportunities. This position primarily involves inpatient care work, with the possibility of combining it with outpatient care over time. Job duties include assessing activity capacity and cognition, testing and prescribing assistive devices, as well as treatment and training. In outpatient care, we work to some extent with group activities. Working in teams is an important part of our daily routine, in both inpatient and outpatient care.
