1 position(s). Your Workplace The Rehabilitation Unit's mission encompasses rehabilitation for patients within municipal primary care and is part of the Health and Social Services operations area. The unit shares office space with the nursing unit at Hönekulla Gård care and housing facility and short-term housing in Mölnlycke, serving all geographic areas within Härryda Municipality. The unit employs occupational therapists and physical therapists, totaling 19 employees plus a unit manager. Within the operation, improvement work is underway to enhance quality and patient safety work through close teamwork. This is accomplished by strengthening licensed professionals in their role as quality leaders based on their professional responsibility and developing structured collaboration forms within unit management teams (ELT) in care and services, as well as creating collaboration structures with support functions for enhanced quality assurance. We're looking for a new colleague for our rehabilitation team as a team member is expecting a child! · As an occupational therapist, you work from a person-centered approach with focus on the patient's resources and participation. You assess the patient's activity capacity based on physical and cognitive function as well as the surrounding environment. · You plan and implement interventions based on the patient's goals and assess assistive device needs, prescribe assistive devices, and write certificates for applications for housing adaptation grants aimed at giving the patient maximum possible activity and participation in daily life. · Interventions are carried out in the patient's home, i.e., in ordinary housing, care and housing facilities, housing with special services, day activities, and at short-term units. · You instruct, guide, and train patients, relatives, and care and support personnel in rehabilitation efforts. · Work is based on a team-based approach in collaboration with a physical therapist, nurse, rehabilitation ombudsman, care and services personnel, and support functions, as well as social workers. Requirements for the Position · You are a licensed occupational therapist with an interest in team collaboration and developing safe and secure rehabilitation within municipal primary care. · You have pedagogical ability to guide and instruct patients, personnel, and next of kin based on occupational therapy interventions. · You have knowledge of cognitive function disorders regarding assessment, support needs, and strategies, as well as assistive device prescription. · You are well acquainted with regulations and guidelines for assistive device prescription and have experience and confidence in assessing needs, trialing, and following up on personally prescribed assistive devices. · Experience within municipal primary care is meriting. · A Class B driver's license is a requirement. · Good ability to express yourself in Swedish both orally and in writing as well as good computer skills are required. To obtain employment, a certificate from the Police's criminal record register must be provided. A certificate from the suspicion register may also be relevant depending on the position.
