About the Operation Do you want to work in a dedicated team where patient recovery and participation are the focus? We are now seeking a licensed occupational therapist for outpatient psychiatry in Ludvika. Here you will have the opportunity to work broadly with psychiatric rehabilitation and make a real difference in people's daily lives. The clinic is located at Ludvika Hospital in new facilities that provide a calm and pleasant environment. The workplace has good atmosphere, open communication, and excellent collegial collaboration. The clinic consists of approximately 35 employees including nurses, healthcare assistants, social workers, licensed psychotherapists, psychologists, physicians, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and managers. The clinic has broad specialist psychiatric expertise that works in an interdisciplinary manner. The patient groups we meet have various psychiatric conditions such as psychosis, bipolar disorder, neuropsychiatric functional limitations, PTSD, and serious anxiety and depression conditions. We work daytime hours, Monday through Friday, with one hour lunch breaks and the possibility of flexible hours if work permits. Region Dalarna provides wellness benefits of 2000 kr/year. We actively work with wellness and work environment initiatives. The hospital has access to a gym and wellness programs offering various organized classes. Cross-country ski trails are located near the hospital and several ski slopes for downhill skiing in the nearby area. There are also plenty of lakes for swimming and fishing as well as forests for hiking and cycling. We Offer - varied and developmental work - close collaboration in an experienced interdisciplinary team - opportunities for professional development and supervision - a work environment characterized by dedication and collegial support - opportunity to influence and develop the operation Job Responsibilities As an occupational therapist in outpatient psychiatry, you will work with: - assessing activity capacity and rehabilitation needs - supporting patients in creating structure and functioning daily routines - conducting individual treatments and group interventions - working with assistive devices, cognitive support, and activity balance - collaborating with relatives, municipalities, and other healthcare providers - contributing occupational therapy expertise to the team's treatment planning The work includes patients with conditions such as depression, anxiety, neuropsychiatric functional limitations, and other mental health issues. Qualifications Requirements: - Licensed occupational therapist with interest in psychiatry and rehabilitation - Works independently and in a structured manner - Good collaboration skills and professional demeanor Meritorious: - Experience in psychiatry and/or work with mental health issues Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
