We are looking for you with experience and interest in neurological rehabilitation who wants to become part of our competent and engaged team! Neuro Team Rehab Södra provides team-based rehabilitation for people who have recently suffered a stroke or other acquired neurological injury or disease. In our team, a speech-language pathologist, social worker, occupational therapist, and physical therapist work closely together to help patients progress in their rehabilitation. Rehab Södra is part of SLSO, Stockholm County Healthcare Area, and includes four clinics in the southern districts; Dalen, Farsta, Högdalen, and Södermalm. We are tasked with providing primary care rehabilitation. Neuro Team is based at Dalen Rehab and the team's catchment area extends from Gamla Stan and south across Södermalm, to Hagsätra, Farsta, and Skarpnäck. At Rehab Södra, occupational therapists, dietitians, physical therapists, chiropractors, speech-language pathologist, social worker, and administrative staff work together—approximately 130 employees in total. Find our clinics and learn more about us at Rehabiliteringsmottagningar i Stockholm - Vår vård Job Responsibilities: As an occupational therapist in Neuro Team, you meet adult patients with various neurological diagnoses. We work in a team-based approach, and the occupational therapist's activity focus is an important part of increasing the patient's independence and participation. Common tasks include assessment and training of activity ability, cognitive assessments including Mindmore, promoting activity balance, prescription of assistive devices, assessment of living environments, and initiation of home modifications. We alternate between having our own patient meetings and team visits together with a colleague. Rehabilitation primarily takes place in the patient's home and their immediate surroundings, but also at the clinic. Home visits are conducted by electric car or bicycle. Our services are carried out in close cooperation with the patient's relatives and other healthcare providers. Documentation is done in Take Care. Employment Terms: Permanent position, full-time 40 hours/week with flexible working hours. Probation may be applied. Start date by agreement.
