About the Occupational Therapist Role
The neuroteam is a link in the care chain for patients with stroke, acquired brain injuries, and other neurological diagnoses. The approach is person-centered, and everyone in the team contributes their specific expertise so that patients have the conditions to achieve their goals. As an occupational therapist, you will have the opportunity to work activity-based with both ADL and cognition. The team plans and follows up on rehabilitation together with the patient and their family. Rehabilitation takes place primarily in the patient's home and immediate surroundings, but also at the clinic individually and in groups. Documentation is done in the TakeCare medical record system.
