Description We are now seeking an occupational therapist. This position is a 12-month temporary assignment with the possibility of extension at 100% employment level. The position is located in our medical unit, which is responsible for health and medical care and rehabilitation, conducted by nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists in the municipality's special housing facilities, day activities, or in the homes of residents who have difficulty visiting a health center. Schedule: Monday to Friday with flexible working hours agreement. Job Responsibilities Perform profession-specific interventions that utilize, maintain, and improve function and resources for elderly people and people with disabilities within municipal health and medical care in special housing facilities and within home health care. The work also involves training staff and issuing personal assistive devices. The work also includes assisting in the procurement of occupational aids. You will work according to the social welfare board's goals and guidelines as well as established operational objectives. You are responsible for making assessments and prescriptions within rehabilitation as well as guiding and developing colleagues in everyday rehabilitation methods. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist. You have a strong interest in working with people and their well-being. You are positive, flexible, and can work independently as well as in a team. In your work, you have a clear patient focus and demonstrate through your actions that the patient's needs are prioritized. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. You need to be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Conditions This position requires a category B driver's license. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis, so do not delay submitting your application. A police criminal record certificate is required before employment.
